You Can Process Your Online Credit Card Transactions Through Any
Financial Institution Throughout North America!
A decision was made before we entered the e-payment industry in February of 1997 that SPI was not
going to issue merchant accounts through a Master Merchant account for two important reasons.
- We were not interested in managing the merchant chargeback risk.
- We knew that Security, Privacy and Trust were going to be the biggest inhibitors for customers
buying retail or business to business online.
We had the security and privacy concerns covered, but building trust online was our biggest
reason for developing partnerships and business relationships with banking institutions.
By having the merchant apply directly to their financial institution for merchant accounts
helps to ensure that the merchant is a reliable and credible business or charity organization.
In addition, it keeps the merchant financial relationship where it belongs… with their financial
institution.
Our systems are bank agnostic, meaning that you, the customer, can choose which financial institution you
wish to use to process your online credit card transactions.

We are certified with Global Payments and Vital who process for hundreds
